When building a model railway, the layout and scenery are what really bring it to life.

With self-assembly plastic model kits you have the freedom to create your own unique diorama, with railway station buildings and fixtures, such as bridges, a canopy or turntable. There are many other buildings and models that can also add to your scene. Perhaps a dockside crane, a traditional windmill, a pub, houses and, of course, some people. 

These scenery models are not limited to railways, they can be used for any kind of diorama or model building project. Once you've constructed the model you can then either choose to paint the buildings in a traditional style, or let your imagination run wild and make something truly original.
