These thick willow charcoal sticks are ideal for drawing thick lines and shading larger areas. The box contains 12 sticks of thick willow charcoal, each measuring approximately 7-9mm in diameter. This is a natural product so measurements can vary. 

This charcoal is of high-quality, made from willows grown in Somerset by Coates. Willow charcoal produces a very soft, deep black colour ideal for outlines and shading. It can be used on its own or with paint or pastels.
