Winsor & Newton's oil paper pad is a convenient alternative to canvas for oil painting. 

Oil paper is designed to withstand thick oil paints in multiple layers without buckling. It has a fine canvas-like texture which is neutrally sized and formulated, ready to use without the need for any surface preparation. This oil paper has reduced absorbency so the paint stays on the surface with high colour luminosity. 

Winsor & Newton oil paper is acid-free and contains no optical brighteners making it an ideal archival quality painting surface. Oil paper can be used with oil paints, oil pastels and acrylics.
